It had felt like an eternity since he had been out in the large city, or at the very least - that was how long it head felt since being here, but now that he was back and after all that had occured during the period he had been 'away'. It had certainly given him reason in which to reconsider certain aspects of his way of life, namely start making more attempts in which to obtain an addition of some kind to his team of one. Granted he could not deny the fact that while yes the Weavile that was his constant companion could be tough, there was always that constant knowledge that one day and no matter how much the sharp clawed dark pokemon tried the results would no doubt be beyond disastrous. So as problematic as such a thing as attempting to do such as this was - the desire to do it anyway certainly overrode the sense of self preservation that often kept other rebels away.
Naturally getting past the rocket guards in which were always at the entrance / exit to the city / bicycle path was always the first challenge to get past, but it also made things all the more interesting. But then was that just Akira's odd sense of humor? That was more than likely the reason for the tall dark haired rebel thinking such a thing, why; well that he wouldn't be able to tell you. But whatever the reasoning was; that was the first place in which to focus your attention before doing anything else.
It took a bit of time, but getting past and out into the wilder parts of the overgrown bicycle path was just about manageable - even if he were close to colliding with the rockets that were now far behind him as they were wandering out for their routine checks. But now it didn't matter, he were out here in the dark hours and that was the main thing so all that he found himself doing now was move through this place and if he found something it didn't matter, the change in scenery was always welcome.

A spearow walked back from the small pond it was drinking from and began searching the area for food. It didn't seem to notice that Akira was a little ways behind it.
OOC I'm sorry Reiki for taking so long to plost and for a not very exciting pokémon...

OOC: Don't worry about it, i don't mind at all. And besides, i'm not particularly fussy either.

He had forgotten just how dark it would be out here, but then again it had been a VERY long time since he had come this far from the - albeit only slightly - brighter city. But that didn't take much to get used to after a time and naturally ensuring to be a little more careful where to step; who knew just what was around and how close? The thought of receiving some form of injury through making a simple mistake did not appeal to Akira, not that his concerns on such a simple and seemingly insignificant thing were to interest him much longer.
The flicker of movement that passed him and away from what he could assume - and judging by the faint sounds - was a small body of water was what forced him to slow to something close to a stop, eyes carefully following the small Spearow as it began it's search of the surroundings - no doubt in search of some form of sustanance. Though it were certainly small, that didn't mean much - if anything Akira were certainly curious just to see what this little bird were capable of. That was all that resulted in him slowly tugging free a pokeball and releasing the Weavile from within as quietly as were capable, only then dropping his gaze to the dark pokemon beside him.
"Kai, use Ice Shard - not to hit it. I just want to see how it reacts." he instructed, dropping his gaze enough to ensure that what he had spoken had been taken note of. It had been only after ensuring such a thing did Akira just simply watch as small pieces of ice were formed and 'thrown' to various spots around the Spearow - close enough to be taken note of but not enough to cause harm, not yet anyway; after all anything could happen.

As the Spearow was pecking around the ground it was surprised to see ice shards land around its feet and immediately began a furry attack towards Akira and the Weavile. A not very coordinated fury attack, it just hoped to hit someone.

All Akira found himself doing for a short time was merely watching the small bird's reaction; a surprised one at that - but only to be expected considering his own actions to cause such a reaction from the Spearow. That and of course the attack in which followed, not accurate but considering the darkened sky it was no complete surprise, even if on occasion it were accurate - both human and Weavile alike getting struck a number of times as a smirk dared to form upon Akira's features. For a small and almost clumsy thing it certainly had a lot of spirit, or at least enough to keep his interest for a time.
"Kai, use Fury Swipes - see if you can try hit it." It came out more as a query than an actual order, but then again he were certainly curious to see the outcome. Which was all the dark haired young man did as the Weavile began it's approach, claws swiping out towards the small bird in it's attempts to strike - if it didn't then it were no matter but it didn't prevent the dark pokemon from trying.

The Spearow was at first just trying to scare Weavile away but now that it was being attacked the Spearow was getting angry especially now after it was attacked and came in with an aggressive drill peck.

The sudden change in attitude and the general aggression displayed by the small Spearow certainly came as something of a surprise to Akira, but then again who would not be annoyed with those who had disturbed them? But to have the smaller bird use such a move as Drill Peck? And with a force that managed to push the Weavile back a distance was certainly an impressive thing too; though it did well to anger the dark pokemon enough so that a snarl escaped it and result in a slight smirk forming upon Akira's features.
Maybe he had been wrong in thinking that this bird was uninteresting and sickly looking; despite that it were certainly making itself known. "Kai, let's make things cold - Icy Wind." Akira spoke, head tilting to one side as he simply watched as the Weavile inhaled a deep breath before releasing the blast of cold air - hopefully making the surrounding area's temperature drop by several degree's and hopefully cause some issues.

The Spearow stpped its drill peck attack as the Weavile's icy wind hit it at close range. The Spearow began to move very slowly and sluggishly, while shivering it tried one last ditch effort with a peck attack.
-Meanwhile-
"Hey man, do you hear that, and did it just get colder?" One rocket guard asked to the other. "It's jut the wind, forget about it." The other guard replied as he began nodding off to sleep. "I don't know..."

Maybe he really should have put more thought into his choices of attacks, especially with one such as this was and on a slightly breezy night such as this too - considering there were occasions that he tended to forget just how well his companion tended to use certian moves such as this. The chill had been quick to close in around Akira within moments of the icy wind being formed, eyes momentarly wandering back in the direction in which he had come - he could only imagine that it may have been just enough to gain the attention [no matter how small] of those he had passed in order to venture out into this area; he jsut hoped it would go unnoticed for a while longer at least.
His attention only shifting back to the battling pokemon just as the - albeit slowed - attack struck home, though enough to force the dark pokemon back several steps. It was only then did Akira even consider tugging free one of the pokeballs from within his possesion, taking a few moments before daring to toss it towards the Spearow. If it failed, well it didn't matter to him - that would be something he would have to accept.

The Spearow's beak was so cold it probably hurt it more than the Weavile. It also didn't help that it was just hit in the face with a pokéball. The Spearow tried to break free but it was rather warm inside the pokéball.
*Wiggle wiggle wiggle, click!* Akira caught a Spearow!
"Alright I heard something, there's definitely someone out there. I'm going to check." "Z Z Z." The other replied The rocket guardwalked off in the direction of the commotion and released his Lampent as a light source. "Alright, who's out here?"
OOC You can decide its gender and whatnot. And now to give Akira some notoriety!

OOC: Then thank you; and yes . . . .make his life [hell] interesting! ^_^

All Akira found himself doing was actually hoping all turned out well - and when it did as surprising as it may have been the rebel released the breath he had been holding, as strange as it was what could beat that small thrill of knowing you had caught yourself a pokemon? Especially under current circumstances it if anything made things that little more exciting, but then again that was probably just him - so it was easy and quick for Akira to push this aside before covering the short distance to retrieve the now filled pkeball.
Only after doing this had Akira already begun making attempts to plan his route back into the city, of course the route he had come out here would not be an option considering it could no doubt cause some problems. Though maybe spending those fe wmoemnts considering his next course of action was not the best of plans; the sounds of another moving towards him and the sudden light source was all he needed to know he had been been careless - that and of course the sudden change in behavior from his small companion.
Rather than give an answer in which the Rocket guard was no doubt after, Akira simply found himself turning to partly face the other - quietly observing the other for what seemed an age. "Now that would depend on who's asking - and what you would do, not that it matters to me." he responded, probably a little more confidently than what was expected but then again what did it matter to him?

"Who's asking? Don't ya see the big red R on the shirt? Stupid kid, this is gonna be fun. Lampent! Fire spin!" The obedient Lampent blasted a ring of fire out from its hands towards Akira and Weavile.

What did it matter to this Rocket who was asking? At this time of night anyone - with exceptions of other rockets - was instantly under suspicion no matter what, so to be questioned about who he was? Though it was not this that got Akira's focused upon the referance to being some kid, now THAT got his attention and kept it focused upon the rocket - a flicker of irritation soon creating a slight change in his behavior.
"Yet even a stupid kid can come up with better insults, how pathetic. Kai - Metal Claw." Akira said, a touch of hate and general frustration becoming evident in the rebels voice as he sent the Weavile charging towards the Lapent with claws extending slightly as its attack were prepared the flames striking it's body. A few ember's getting as far the rebel and in turn burning his skin, not that he took note of such a thing.

The rocket guard got way too flustered by the kid's insult, so much so that he began stomping around and waving his hands around in the air. He also didn't notice the Weavile's Shadow Claw attack come in and knock out his Lampent. "Uhh, oh...maybe I shouldn't have given that Lampent to my brother to train..." The rocket guard pulled out his radio. "Rebel spotted! All units report to sector 7! Now you're in for a treat, ya brat." Rockets began to pour in around Akira releasing various Houndooms and Raticates and a few Magickarps... "Whatcha gonna do now? Heh heh."

now this was almost amusing; how such a simple or small thing as an insult directed upon this particular rocket and all of a sudden he starts behaving like this? Now how could that not be an amusing sight to see? Not that Akira actually managed to laugh; rather just allowing a slight smirk to form upon his feturess for a time, after all; this guy seemed so . . . . . . pathetic? No that wasn't it - hmmm, he would have to think about that. But then to a degree he must have been considering how quick that Lampent went down.
Before he would have probably would have at least put some effort into trying to avoid a situation such as this; namely having himself surrounded by a group of rockets - but that was then. He had changed a bit since then; maybe not for the better in circumstances like this. He simply allowed his bored gaze wander to study those who had surrounded him and the mixture of pokemon they had in turn released; certainly an interesting mix - not that he cared, Akira's attention only returning to the original rocket he had been dealing with from the beginning. "Oh I thought I would just run away; especially with all these scry things . . . . . . yeah right. What do you care?" he snapped, a flicker of sarcasm evident as he spoke before glaring at the one who had spoken.
