The city certainly hadn't changed much in his departure from the Kanto region in fact in his time away from his home region he was pretty sure he had changed far more than it had. He moved a hand through his now blonde hair and let a small chuckle escape from his lips as he wondered down the streets of Celedon City keeping his eyes out for anything that might require his immediate attention, but so far he hadn't exactly found anything that was life threatening or had seen any Rockets tormenting any civilians everything seemed so calm. The people walked about the city streets as if everything in their lives were normal, like they weren't living under the iron thumb of a ruthless criminal organization that now controlled the entire world. It made his stomach looking at all these people that the rebel community had taken to calling Followers got about their lives having submitted to the rules and regulations that the Rockets had set for them. He had been wrong to assume that nothing had changed in the city because this certainly had, he could remember when things were like an battlefield rebels fighting rockets left and right.
That was about to change though with him being back in Kanto the Rockets were in for the return of their worst enemy and this time he had good head on his shoulders, at least one that was better than the one he had before. He wasn't dealing with a bunch of mindless revenge going through his mind anymore, no...he was ready to give Team Rocket hell and end this war right at the place it began. That was after he let his numbers grow, right now it was all about finding people who could join his cause. That and well enjoying himself maybe he'd even go to one of the bars that dotted the city and get himself a drink, perhaps he'd find someone that would make a good Phoenix member there. He also wanted to indulge his nasty little habit, but those were thoughts for another time entirely right now he needed to focus.
So as he made his way through the slightly crowded streets of Celedon City his hands resting firmly in his pockets he made sure to keep his eyes open for any good bars. He had made it past the gym when he had actually found a place that looked like it would have some decent whiskey for him to drink, and after checking his leather wallet to make sure he had enough money on him he headed into the bar. The air conditioned area was a welcomed changed to the sticky and warm night that was going on outside, and as he took a seat at one of the old timey bar stools that was anchored in front of the counter he made sure to order two glasses of whiskey. Both of which for him, but he wouldn't mind sharing if someone interesting came along.

She was a wreck. If the evidence of her staring into a shot glass weren't enough, then she didn't know what was. She saw him...Akira just roaming the streets but had avoided him. She couldn't believe her eyes it had been 6 months and he was back, more than likely looking for her. Her blue eyes stared into the now empty glass, her breath reaked of the liquor she had been consuming. She wasn't crazy but after the events that had begun to unfold the past few days, it was more than unsatisfying. She had found herself quite fancy with a new rebel in town, someone she had just met, and he charmed her from the get-go. She had to protect him. Then there was Aven....Sage...what side was she on really? The rocket admin was spiraling into a pit of confusion and it all stemmed backed to the same person, the person who she saw walking around aimlessly looking for her, and her she was hiding in self pity. It was quite the shame really.
"Another please."
The bartender looked at the black haired girl with a curious eye before carefully tipping the clear liquid into the glass. "You can hold your own lady. Normally by now the females are a sloppy mess." He chuckled before taking a towel wiping down the rest of the glasses that he was doing before Thorn had interrupted him for her 6th cold shot. "You shouldn't do any more you will regret it in the morning." He added.
"If you've been apart of the things I deal with you, you will be shocked I haven't downed a bottle. I won't regret a thing. The last thing I regret doing happened years ago." She picked up her glass and downed the shot like water, however it was when the door opened that she turned her head with a curious expression on her face. The man sat down and was given whiskey, oh the sweet aroma wafted her way and it almost teased her. Her blue eyes gazed fiercely ahead before focusing back on herself. "Come here often? Only the real trouble makers come to this bar." She stated trying to make casual conversation.

He took a slow drink of his whiskey making sure not to down the whole thing in one go, he was looking to enjoy himself not go home to Cherise smiling a drunk. He let the whiskey glass move around in his hand as he stared ahead of himself the sound of the ice clanking against the class present in his mind, that and the of talking from everyone around him. He brought the whiskey glass to his lips again and was about to take another drink when he stopped himself his attention shifting from drinking to the person sitting next to him, who he tell had perhaps taken a few too many drinks. She was close enough for him to smell the ever present scent of alcohol, then again that might have just been the glass that was held up against his lips and so close to his nose. He set the glass down and again began to move it around in his hand, his amber eyes staring firmly at the girl next to him.
"Do I look that much like a trouble maker? I could have sworn I put on my good boy pants before leaving the house." he joked lightly, adjusting himself in his seat. "You look like more of a trouble maker than I do miss, but I guess in this city that's what you'd expect." the rebel took a drink of his whiskey finishing it off this time and moving towards the second glass that he had ordered. He wondered if it would be a good idea to mention that he had just gotten into the city travel between regions wasn't exactly something that was common these days. If you were traveling regions you either had to be a member of Team Rocket or a rebel with some very good connections Michael just so happen to be a rebel with some very good connections.
He deiced that he'd take a chance and mention that he had just gotten into the region if he was lucky she wouldn't ask too many questions about it, or she'd be too drunk to even realize it wasn't something that typically happened. "I actually just got into the region, visiting an old friend of mine and taking care of some unfinished business not that you care to hear about that." you know unless you're a Rocket and then you really want to know what he's doing here. He gave a smile that seemed out a place as the thought entered into his mind and took another drink of his alcohol. Unlike the girl he wasn't about to down the damn thing like water, he didn't need to stumble back into that life style at all. "Names Michael, what might yours be little lady?"

"Thorn, and yeah you could say I'm a trouble maker." She smirked slightly lifting her elbows off the table so she was more upright. Her eyes were slightly glazed over but that was to be expected. Despite the smell of alcohol on her breath, she took care of herself. She made sure she had an attractive appearance. Not a single hair was out of place, if you took away her glasses, she would appear to be a sober young woman but this was not the case. "this place...is hell why would you come back." Her eyes averted for a moment to her glass, and to some fancier liquor bottles on display. She narrowed her eyes slightly to adjust her vision, after moments of contemplating she decided that none of those were all too appealing to her. "In case you haven't noticed Rockets are being more sneaky....98% of them little fuckers are under cover. I could be one you could be one, the bartender could be one who the hell knows. We don't go around flaunting ourselves in those outsits no more. Nope nope nope" She reached into her pockets pulling out all the forms of ID she may have had, each with the more than obvious red R in the right hand corner of all them.
With a loud slam they landed on the counter. She gave a snort before crossing her arms across her chest. "after allll my encounters in the past 6 months with these rebel kind that I used to chase after I decided to be one myself this evening. Workin' from the inside out that's for shur givn all the information." Thorn stared blankly ahead for just a moment, she pressed her fingers against her temples giving them a rub. "Did you know that half the security cameras don't even work....the ones on the back door don't." Thorn chuckled softly for a moment. "Guess that's what they get for being lazy and making me angry." She added before waving the tender down once more. She looked at her full glass and smiled. It was quite the sight.

Thorn...Thorn...Michael could have sworn he had heard that name somewhere before, had some kind of an encounter with a person by the name of Thorn before. The memory was present inside of his mind but it was a little faded so much had happened to him since his last time in Kanto, that he couldn't really be blamed for forgetting some people. Still the name and a faded memory of a girl by the name of Thorn were apparent in his mind, and as he took a drink form his glass he couldn't help but let it drive him a little bit crazy. When the girl looked over at him with her slightly glassy eyes he gave a brief smile towards her and took another sip from his glass, she clearly was starting to get drunk from all the drinking. Heck now that she was talking right at him he could smell the alcohol on her breath and it was something he was all to familiar with. He couldn't help but get the sense that she was drinking to forget something, which Michael understood so well.
He chuckled rather loudly when she mentioned this place being hell, "That may be so, but I've got my reasons for coming back." he said taking another drink from his glass and moving it around within his grasp. He wasn't sure hell was the right word for the city, it certainly was a bad place to be at the moment but he had seen some worse things in his time away. Michael took another sip from his glass as the drunk female began to ramble about how the Rockets were starting to get more sneaky, which he knew. While he hadn't gotten it down to a complete science just yet, he had gotten pretty good at spotting those who might be among the Rocket's ranks. The female was clearly a member of Team Rocket, and while he hadn't figured it out on his own it did come to him when she said we. She flashed her rocket ID, well it wasn't like she actually flashed it but more slammed it down on the table.
The young man only gave a shake of his head as she went on to ramble more, making note of the fact she wasn't aware which side she was on anymore. The past him probably would have let the anger inside of him get the best of him and attack the girl, but not this time...the older Michael only took another sip from his glass. "I think you might of had a little too much to drink Thorn, why don't you slow down and drink a glass of water." he said, before asking the bartender to bring the young female a cup of aforementioned water. "Sounds like you've got quite the problem on your hands though, but I'd imagine quitting Team Rocket isn't going to be the easiest thing to do." he twirled his glass around in his hand, "Assuming of course that is something you want to do." he didn't think that idea had passed through her head yet though, and if it had maybe she had tossed it aside rather quickly.
Out of instinct Michael brought his thumb to his lips and began to bite down on it thinking rather hard on who Thorn could possible be to him. The conversation had certainly taken quite an interesting, and as he bit down rather hard on his thumb the memory he was thinking of finally came into view inside of his mind. She had been the one that gave him all the nasty scars on his face when he was just starting out as rebel, they had come across each other after that but it was nothing major. He touched one the scars on his face that hadn't faded away fully and found himself chuckling, this was certainly a funny joke being played on him by fate now wasn't it? "The good old days." he muttered to himself, but it was loud enough for Thorn to him.

Thorn took the glass willingly but she was certainly hesitant. She didn't like the fact that this man was trying to control her new found habit. She looked at him as he muttered the good ol days..and her blue eyes lit up. "Michael you said your name was..." The gears in her mind were starting to turn. She remembered a Michael. Oh yes, but this Michael looked.....different. She studied the scars and studied his eyes, yes she would remember those eyes anywhere. "CHanged a bit eh..." She smirked slightly as she shook her head. He had been a pain, and she had cared deeply for him but that changed ever so quickly they split just like that, but that didn't stop them from having their enuendos now and again but once she figured out he was with some lady named something or other she couldn't remember, she wanted them both. Now not so much...she could care less.
"You're looking at me like I haven't thought this over. Quit no...never. Give information sure why not. Not my problem until I get caught." She rubbed the side of her head trying to get her headache to go away, which had been present since she started consuming her drinks. "I'm a rebel on the outside, and a Rocket on the inside. I'd be a good ally to have you know." She smirked ever so slightly before getting another glass of water. "Do you know how many rare pokemon there are on the inside just in pokeballs in a glass frame just WAITING to be stolen. TONS....and you know...funny thing is I know exactly where they are." She smiled at him ever so slightly. As an ADmin she was supportive of Team Rocket and would do her job....but that didn't mean she wouldn't help others along the way.
