Personality:
Renee is not the same girl she was when she was younger. She’s no longer a shy little girl, oh no. Renee is a young woman with a temperament to match her fiery red hair. When she gets angry, be ready for a wrath to match Mount St. Helens. She can go from cool and calculated to yelling at you in three seconds flat. Unlike earlier in her life, she is not afraid to get angry. If you can avoid setting her off, Renee is a rather outgoing young woman, with a somewhat sarcastic air about her. Generally, her sarcasm is used sort of like a shield. She might just be hiding something from you if she goes sarcastic. She hates being wrong, or revealing things about herself or her emotions without meaning to.
Much like her best friend, Renee despises large crowds. This is mainly due to the fact that she has a minor case of claustrophobia, and large crowds make her feel trapped. Otherwise, she is far more of a social person than Jake is. She enjoys talking with others, but can sometimes be a bit of a flirt. It just happens.
Renee hides behind a tough girl façade. To everyone in the outside world, including her best friend, she is a proud, quick-witted woman. She’s sharp-tongued, a little bit cocky, and extremely sexy. If you bury beneath all of that, however, what you’ll find might just surprise you. She isn’t all that different from her younger self. Still a little insecure, scared of being judged. And no matter how hard she tries to hide it (she’s quite good), what she really wants is someone to hold her after her missions. She wants a man who’s eyes will look only at her, who’s heart belongs only to her. She wants to love, and to be loved. Yes, she secretly longs for a man’s attention. All she can do for now is believe what her tattoo tells her. Love will find her. One day.
Appearance:
The first thing you might notice about Renee is her eyes. They are a shocking shade of blue, as cold as ice. They are an odd color to have, especially paired with her red hair, the next thing your attention will be brought to. The red locks frame her face, falling in soft sort of waves. Or curls. Somewhere in between the two. Normally, she’ll wear contact lenses, unless she is simply vegging out at home. Then you might catch her with her glasses. Renee is a little bit on the pale side, due to her hair color, but she certainly isn’t the palest person you’ll ever see. Her skin is well cared for by herself, and always seems to be soft. As are her lips, which are a healthy pink color, and well defined.
Her slim, athletic body is nearly unblemished, except for the scar on her right collarbone, and the nearly invisible tattoo on her left hip. Through her late teenage years, Renee has developed a lot. She was a late bloomer, but now she is definitely something to catch your eye, with all the right curves in all the right places. Her teeth are white, yet again well cared for by herself. She does her best to look her best, manicuring her nails, making sure they look good. She doesn’t wear too much makeup, as she doesn’t really need it. Renee has a natural beauty about her. The only time you’ll catch her with makeup is for any type of event that requires a little more dressing up than your average day.
Clothing:
When she isn’t on a mission, Renee can be seen in just about anything, though she generally avoids dresses and skirts. She doesn’t have anything against them, she just finds that they restrict her movement too much. If she is on a mission, she’s dressed all in black. Tight black pants, form fitting black shirt, tucked into her pants to avoid getting caught. Even her belt, holsters and weapons are black. Her shoes vary from mission to mission, but generally she’ll wear black boots that go up to her knee, with her pants inside the boots, again to avoid getting caught on anything. Her shirts vary in style, but generally, they are v-neck shirts with long sleeves. Her hair will usually be pulled back during a mission, especially if it requires her to be active. Can’t have it blocking her vision. Another item she wears that is a little different is the mask that fits over her eyes. It’s a long story. Though her best friend makes fun of her because of the mask, Renee still chooses to wear it. It’s a bit of a comfort thing, a habit.

History:
Renee was born into a fairly normal family, based in Goldenrod city. Her mother stayed at home to care for her while her father worked at a Pokemon Lab. Renee never really understood what her father did for a living, she just knew that he worked, and he got paid well.
Starting at a very young age, Renee developed an interest in super heroes. She would tell her parents that, when she grew up, she was going to become a super hero, and save the world. Her parents would chuckle at this, but they never shot it down. At the age of five, her mother enrolled her in a martial arts class. It was in this class that she met a boy. He was the first to introduce himself to her, although it was a shy introduction. His name was Jake, and he was a year older than she was. Jake became Renee’s first real friend. He didn’t seem to mind playing with her, whereas others weren’t as keen. Though she did have Jake, Renee began to not want to go to the martial arts class. She was a bit small for her age, and the others were so much better than she was.
It was around this time that her mother gave her a little gift. It was a simple gift, a simple mask to go over her eyes. Her mother told her that it would give her the strength and the courage of a super hero, to keep up with the other kids. And somehow, it worked. Renee continued to go to the classes, proud of her mask. She didn’t care what others thought. She was a super hero.
The friendship between herself and Jake grew, and soon their parents had arranged play dates for the two of them. To begin with, both were a little weary. Renee was a girl, Jake was a boy. They couldn’t possibly hang out together. And yet, as they began to visit each other more and more, eating snacks together and playing in the backyards, they became inseparable.
One year, when Renee was nine years old, the two families spent Christmas together. Jake opened up his gift to find a little Growlithe. The dog Pokemon jumped up on the boy, and Renee immediately was jealous. She was sure that the Growlithe was going to steal Jake from her. It wasn’t until her parents urged her to open up her own gift that he jealousy dissipated. There, inside the little box with air holes, sat a little Vulpix, a red ribbon tied carefully around her neck. The two were thrilled to have received their first Pokemon, especially considering they’d received them at the same time.
From that time on, the two of them could be spotted walking their little dog-like Pokemon down the street, their hands locked together. They would often receive adoring looks from passersby. How could you not think the pair adorable? It was an innocent, childhood love, a strong friendship. And one day it all came crashing down.
She’d parted ways with Jake and his Growlithe, just like any other day. Both returned home. Renee was happy as can be, petting her little Vulpix, whom she had named Vivianne. However, her parents called her over with solemn expressions. Little Renee, who was ten at this time, scooped up her Vulpix and quietly clambered over to her parents. What they told her would shake up her world. Jake was moving away. He was getting on a plane with his parents, and they were leaving. Renee cried for days. She would go to school, numb, and come back, climb into bed, and stare at the wall, cuddling with Vivianne.
Slowly, time began to heal her wound, but she still felt the emptiness without Jake. Sure, she made other friends, but none were like Jake. She only had one best friend. The years went by slowly, and Renee started to change. She continued to go to her martial arts classes, but without Jake there, she just seemed to become angrier, more concentrated. She excelled quickly, managing to take down any opponent she was faced with, no matter the gender. This continued for years as Renee’s martial arts skills grew. But that wasn’t the only thing that started changing.
All the girls in Renee’s class had already started to develop. Renee was a late bloomer. All the boys would gawk after all the girls. All the girls, except her. She was fit, and she was pretty, but she was flat. Renee became almost bitter, focusing herself on training, and studying. It was her martial arts sensei that recommended she was moved to a Police academy in Blackthorn. He commented that she would make a fine Officer, if her anger could be controlled. Her parents, worried for her well being, agreed. They would send her to the academy the next year, when she was fifteen years old.
Somewhere within that year, Renee’s body seemed to catch up with the rest. She became not only pretty, she was gorgeous. Her red hair reached down to her mid back, falling in loose curls. Her eyes, which had always been blue, became an icy blue, an attention grabber for sure. And her body curved perfectly wherever it needed to.
She became absorbed in her studies at the new academy, with Vivianne, her little Vulpix still at her side, loyal as can be. One day, in class, Officer Jenny, who was her teacher, asked a question. Renee raised her hand, well-manicured nails flashing a little in the light. When Officer Jenny called on her, she answered the question with ease. She thought she heard the sound of a pencil snapping in two, but she ignored it, instead reaching down to pet her Vulpix. She received a Firestone from Officer Jenny after that class, but she tucked it into her pocket. She wasn’t sure Vivianne, or herself were ready for the Vulpix to evolve just yet.
As she was exiting the class, she noted a boy leaning against the wall just outside of class. There was no one else in the classroom, other than Officer Jenny or herself. Unless he was waiting to ask Officer Jenny a question, he was waiting for her. Her blue eyes rolled as she pushed through the door. She’d had too many boys hitting on her since she’d come here. She was just about ready to show them what she was made of, maybe break their wrist, so they’d be reminded for a long time what she thought of them.
Sure enough, the boy stopped her. She’d give him the fact that he was an attractive boy, chiseled, and handsome. He’d obviously grown a lot. Still, she wasn’t about to be hit on by another boy. Her blue eyes flashed angrily as she opened her mouth to snap at him, yet she never got the chance. He spoke first, in a deep, mature voice. When he said his name, her anger dissipated. Jake.
It was like the pair never missed a beat. They spent all their time together. They’d walk to class, eat lunch and train together. They became inseparable once more. By now, she’d made the Firestone into a sort of necklace, where it would remain until she decided to evolve her Vulpix.
On a warm, autumn day, there was a knock at her door. She opened the door, her Vulpix bounding to her side to find Jake and his Growlithe waiting. He offered his hand, talking about the walks they used to take, asking her if she’d go on one with him. After only a moment’s hesitation, she took his hand, her slender fingers slipping into his.
It became a habit. They’d often go for walks together, hand in hand, Pokemon at their side. Never once did Renee give it a second thought. They were best friends. The young woman was scared of making it anything more. Jake seemed so content as they were, best friends. She couldn’t put that in jeopardy. And… Is that what she really wanted?
Late one holiday evening, Renee had been seated at her desk, mulling over an assignment given to them for the holiday. The lights in her room were dimmed, and her blue eyes frequently glanced out to see the gently falling snow, the winter-time Sawsbuck and the variety of bear-like Pokemon outside. It was a beautiful time of year, one of her favorites. But it always make Renee feel… A little lonely. To her, the holidays were meant to be spent together, with the one you loved. The seventeen year old felt a sudden pang. She wanted to be loved.
There was a knock at her door, and the red haired woman glanced at her clock. 10pm. She raised an eyebrow, but went to the door anyways. When she opened the door, she found Jake standing in the doorway. Her blue eyes noticed a Firestone hanging around his neck. Instinctively, she reached up to touch the one around her neck. When he held out his hand, she took it without a second thought. He lead her outside, and she didn’t even care that she hadn’t brought a jacket. The cold air nipped at her bare arms, and she could even feel it through her sweatpants. But it was the least of her concerns. When Jake asked her if she wanted to see something amazing, Renee simply blinked at him, unsure of what he meant. And then Jake ripped the Firestone from its chain and tossed it to his Growlithe. She became mesmerized by the Pokemon as it began to glow. A shiver of wonder ran through her, and she felt Jake’s warm around wrap around her. She stayed there for a moment, before pulling away from her. Her hand tore the stone from her neck, straining the chain until it snapped. She bent slightly, handing the stone to her Vulpix, smiling softly as the creature took it. And then the girl straightened, leaning back into Jake’s touch as her brilliant eyes watched the two Pokemon change, grow, and glow. All the while, she couldn’t help but think how it all felt so… Right.
The moment dissipated when Jake released her to hug his new Arcanine. Renee, shaken from her daze, bent down just slightly to pet her now larger Ninetails. The woman turned and plopped down into the snow, feeling the cold crystals bite at her skin. But she didn’t care. The Ninetails wrapped her tails around the red haired woman, and she felt safe, and warm.
Time moved on, turning weeks into months, and months into another year. The pair worked together as often as they could, and received straight A’s across the board. They became the envy of the class. Alone they were alright. Together, they were perfect. Officer Jenny offered them paid positions in Goldenrod city, where Rocket activity was rising. The pair agreed, and they continued to work together, a perfect tag team.
A man contacted Officer Jenny, about a new job offer for Renee and Jake. He wanted them to work as agents for his company. They agreed on the condition that they would never be separated. Agent Cassandra Jameson. After a few angry words to the right people she became referred to as Agent Renee Jameson. Much better.
The two performed missions together. Though she hated to admit it, Jake saved her ass every now and again. For example, when she was held at knife point. The blade was pressed to her neck as the man they were after held her tight. Somehow, Jake, Vivianne and the Arcanine managed to take him down, with only a minor setback. The knife bit into Renee’a right collarbone sharply. It would leave a scar, the only mark on her otherwise perfect skin.
One day, they found themselves sitting on a plane, heading from the Sinnoh region, back to Johto. Renee was busy gently putting away her mask, which she had pulled out to look at. Yes, she still wore a mask in the same style of the one her mother had given her when she was younger. It was just a habit to her. Nothing more. Not that Jake let that go. Renee had finished tucking the mask into her bag, holding it close to her as she listened to the conversation Jake and the mystery man were having. There was word from Kanto region that Celadon had been destroyed by the Rockets, along with other neighboring cities. Renee’s blue eyes flicked up to Jake as he spoke to her, referring to her as ‘super girl’. The red head opened her mouth to snap a retort back at him, but he moved before a single word could escape her. He grabbed her wrist, yanking her straight out of her seat, running towards the open door. The open door?! And then he jumped.
The moment Jake was off the phone with their ‘boss’, and they were floating down to safety from a parachute, the red head’s temper showed through.
“Are you fucking CRAZY?!? You not only jumped out of a god damned PLANE, you pulled ME along with you! You’re insane, Jake Mueller! Fucking INSANE, do you hear me? If you EVER do something like that again, I’ll hunt you down and castrate you, do you understand me!!!”
