Like satellites & shooting stars like a star that has seen the sun, i revolve around you ►-------------------◄ As his feet touched the floor, he could feel the need to pass out right then and there wash over him, beginning to numb his legs. He felt himself sway once more, almost like he was going to tip over at any moment. Now, the smart idea would probably be to reach out and grab onto something for stability, or to even head over to the bed right away and lay down. With food in his stomach, his mind was slowly starting to process the current situation. The key word there would have to be slowly. He was out of energy. He was close to passing out. His words went by unfiltered. Those words were what was keeping him going. No, that's not it. Perhaps it was just how close the other man had become. Close. Too close. Under ordinary circumstances, he would have kept away from all physical contact of another person unless absolutely necessary. Now? Now was not necessary. Now was strange. Now was not what he was used to. Now... He was quite certain he would regret his actions later. " If you need me to stop, at any time... Just tell me." Wait, what--? His eyes glazed over at the touch, a shiver rushing up his spine. His mind grew foggy as his instincts--could they even be called that?--took control over his body. Pale arms reached up, slithering around the tanner man's neck and draping across his shoulders. All rational thoughts left his mind. All of his attention focused on Amos, a mere stranger. Yet, he wanted nothing more than to be closer than they were now. Just a simple kiss wasn't going to satisfy him. He wanted more. He... Didn't know exactly what, though. After all, he was the twenty-two year old virgin who just had his first kiss taken from him. He would just have to let Amos take the lead, to guide him through... Whatever was in store for them. To be honest, he was just thinking about 'sleeping together' meaning both sleeping in the same bed, not... This... But, this was fine, too. He could handle this. I want... More. They closed the door, right? ooc: what is description. he might pass out in the middle. just sayin'.

Amos felt the arms go around his neck, felt the pressure of the other male holding onto him. So why did he feel he should stop? He slowly lifted him holding his body up against his on, one hand around the smaller mans lower back, the other supporting his supple rear. He walked over to the mattress, carefully laying the smaller man down before he moved atop, letting the kiss linger for only a few moments before he pulled back. Since ya know. The whole needing to breathe thing.
He smiled softly at the smaller male... As much as this seemed like a good thing to do, he couldn't take advantage of him... "Why don't you get some rest, We can explore this more after you've rested if you still want to." he smiled softly, a tanned hand moved though the soft locks on the others head. "I won't go anywhere, promise." he smiled softly.

Like satellites & shooting stars like a star that has seen the sun, i revolve around you ►-------------------◄ Oh, dear. He was being lifted up again. At least this time it wasn't in the bridal style. Making no movement to resist or even bothering to let out a noise of protest, he simply clung to the taller man's form, keeping his arms around his neck. His grip only loosened as he felt his back hit the mattress, a switch flipping in his mind to begin shutting down. Mattress. Warmth. Sleep. Taking in a soft gasp of air as Amos moved away, thus ending the kiss, he found his vision blurring more and more as he struggled to keep his gaze focused. All he knew was that he was looking in the general direction of Amos's head, his only clue to that being the splotch of color that resembled the man's hair. His arms slowly slipped away from their perch around the chef's neck, eyelids drooping as he tried to fight the sleep. He didn't want to--no, he really wanted to--but he didn't---yet he did--but he still had work to do! The need to sleep won over as soon as he felt fingers running through his hair. The soothing touch was just what he needed to win over the inner argument, the warring sides between the wake and slumber. Ruby irises hid behind his eyelids. Pale lips remained partially parted, taking in quiet breaths that slowed down as the sleep took over. He didn't even care what kind of position he was in. He didn't even care that he had allowed himself to be carried to a mere stranger's room. He didn't even care that he wasn't in his own bed. All that mattered was sleep and the dreams that were to come as he sunk deeper and deeper into the darkness.

Amos watched the paler mans battle with staying awake, He smiled softly and silently moved, gently tucking him in so he wouldn't get to cold or anything like that while he slept. He watched him sleep for a little while before he moved, to fetch a book.
When he returned he also had one of the chairs from his small table to sit on. He sat on the chair, propping his feet onto the mattress of his bed, silently reading the book. He glanced up now and then to see how he was doing, and would glance over to the two sleeping pokemon. At least he was pretty sure that Metang was sleeping, although he wasn't fully sure. He would then get back to his book reading some more of it. It was just a mystery novel. It entertained him when he needed it to, wasn't often he had time to sit and read it. Hopefully the other cafeteria workers could handle getting a lunch together, or just keep offering the pancakes if they couldn't. Since he really didn't think it'd be a good idea to risk the pale man waking alone in here.

Like satellites & shooting stars like a star that has seen the sun, i revolve around you ►-------------------◄ The realm of dreams seemed to be rather void for the first few hours. He slept peacefully, almost like the dead. His mind had shut down for the most part, allowing him to sleep without restless thoughts of work and life. It was... nice, for once. Though, all good things always came to an end too soon. His mind slowly started to reboot, and his body began to respond by turning onto his side and curling up in an attempt to find a more comfortable position. It didn't take too long to find one before his body stilled once more, though his mind refused to calm down. The dreamless sleep disappeared as images began flashing in his mind, voices of the past echoing in his ears. Usually, when he dreamed about his past, robots would invade and a new idea for a project would form. However, this time... He was shown nothing but hours worth of the past he wished he could have held onto. His uncle Josef, his grandparents on his father's side, Unova... Father--Tsubasa awoke with a start, his entire body lurching before he could open his eyes. He blinked a couple of times, pushing himself up with one hand while the other moved to comb through his hair. Red eyes narrowed, waiting for his surrounding to come into focus. These colors, this smell... He wasn't in his room, so... Where? He glanced around as soon as his vision focused, allowing him to take more detailed notes of his current surroundings. This was not his room, but that was his Metang off in the corner. A Sealeo--not his. A man--definitely not his. The albino rubbed at his eyes, covering them with his hand as he waited for his mind to piece together the confusing puzzle that had broken apart and scrambled with his sleep. Let's see... I was working on the project for the boss... Then... Uh, Josef pushed me to the cafeteria, and...
Oh.This was Amos's room. He could feel heat rising to his face as he began to remember what had happened because of his lack of sleep. He was almost afraid to lower his hand from his face because he was quite certain that any form of blushing would stand out against his pale skin. Tsubasa remained where he was for a few long moments before he finally spoke up. " Sorry for keeping you from your work." The words came out quiet, mumbled, as he allowed his hand to finally slip away from his face.

When the body in the bed jolted awake it startled Amos. He almost tipped his chair all the way back and fell. But he managed to right himself, closing the book he'd been reading as he looked to the man. Noticing him skimming around as he took in the surroundings. Well, with that look he felt glad he didn't just do as they both had seemed to want to. He didn't give into his body's cravings, which had been hard to do.
He watched as the hand moved, and he couldn't stop from smiling at his words, "Hey, don't worry." He chuckled, leaning forward, chin resting in his palm as his elbow leaned against his knee as he watched the smaller paler man. "I enjoyed getting to watch you sleep." he stated smoothly. Really he did, after learning he was awake for three days, it brought Amos comfort just to watch him sleep.
He moved, sitting up again looking towards the two pokemon who both seemed to still be sleeping. Looking back to him, "You sure you got enough rest?" he asked while smiling gently.

Like satellites & shooting stars like a star that has seen the sun, i revolve around you ►-------------------◄ A thin, pale brow lifted up, arching as he eyed the tanner of the two. He tried to ignore the growing heat on his face from his words, trying to also bite back any words he might regret later on. Despite his efforts, some of the words just happened to find an escape route. " Oh, really? You seemed quite engrossed in that book of yours rather than my sleeping." Quick observations and a mind that never forgot (unless, of course, his mind is a little too far gone from sleep deprivation) meant that he could easily withhold information that he could use to his advantage later. Or, he could just use it for a semi-sarcastic remark here and there. Tsubasa peeled off the covers, shifting around on the mattress so he was sitting with his legs crossed in the typical crisscross applesauce way with his hands resting in the small space between his legs. Red eyes moved to look down at his own body, and he cringed at how he was dressed. Who let him out looking like this, again? Ah, right, Josef. The Metang was too quick to rush him out. Then again, he was the one who forgot to put on a shirt before putting his lab coat on. Eh. It was a little cooler that way, at least. As long as his back was covered, he was fine. His lips parted as a yawn broke through, and a pale hand reached up to hover in front of his mouth in some form of respect... Politeness... Manners? He still did not quite understand why it was the 'proper thing to do' when yawning in front of others. " It's enough for now." His attention flitted over to the sleeping Sealeo and Metang before it returned to Amos. A nagging voice in the back of his mind was telling him that he had already overstayed his welcome. He needed to get back to work. His deadline was in a few days after all, but he was still at a standstill in the project. There was nothing he could do about that other than probably blow up all the prototypes trying out various methods to fix the problem. Ugh, he did not want to do that right now. It was dangerous enough when he was close to falling asleep. Now that he's more or less awake, he could potentially screw himself over with whatever strange idea of how to fix it he came up with while his mind is actually working. He nearly lost an eye the last time. He probably shouldn't be thinking about work right now, though. If he allowed himself to enter a daze as he became lost in his thoughts, who knows what might happen. Speaking of... " You know, when I said sleeping was more fun with two people, I was hinting at just... Sleeping in the same bed with each other, not... That..." The albino trailed off, adverting his gaze as he sheepishly scratched at his cheek with his index finger. " N-not that I would've minded or anything..." The last part came out mumbled and rushed as he tried to focus his eyes on anything other than Amos. Oh, what a lovely looking wall. It's so... Wall-y.

Amos watched him, chuckling softly, "I needed to keep my self occupied less I played with your hair or something the entire time you slept." he answered smoothly, smiling warmly. Really he had been looking up after every short page to see how he'd been doing. Amos chuckled a bit, shaking his head a little bit. Really didn't matter though. He wouldn't be upset if he wanted to think his book was more important--just gave him all the reason to prove to him otherwise.
Amos watched as he sat up, pulling the blanket back, he couldn't help his own light smile. The thin frame of his moved to sit cross-legged, and he couldn't help but take in the others figure. Really, the blanket had hidden to much of it, he would of preferred staring at the figure of his while he slept rather than the covers. When his eyes looked to the side, He couldn't help but follow, seeing the two pokemon still sleeping he couldn't help a faint chuckle. It was normal for his Sealeo to sleep in like that. He wasn't sure if it was normal for his Metang, but he wasn't going to bother asking right now.
He turned back to Tsubasa and watched as he seemed to have some sort of calculating gaze on his face. Was he back to thinking of his work? Even though he hadn't slept all that long? He smiled, but just waited patiently for him to stop running around in his head. Could you blame Amos for wanting to have his full attention? It wasn't often he had someone so attractive in his room--let alone in his bed. He just didn't want to push to hard and scare him off. If he played his cards right, who knew, he might be able to make something out of this other than this one time.
Finally the beauty seemed to 'return' to him from the depths of his mind, they had to be deep for him to be one of the techies. He blinked at his words, a bit surprised. But chuckled softly, "Well, how was I to know?" he spoke softly.. But the whispered words, that he would of missed had he not been giving him his entire attention span. He smiled softly, "Oh really now? We could make up for lost time." he stated playfully, slowly moving close to the blond, a knee on the bed as he leaned in, "Would you like to have fun with that?" he asked, smiling softly as he still hovered close to the paler man. He moved that ninety percent, if he wanted this he could move that last ten.

Like satellites & shooting stars like a star that has seen the sun, i revolve around you ►-------------------◄ He refused to land his gaze on the taller male. He just wouldn't do it. The heat on his face was making it hard to truly concentrate, so he needed to keep changing the object of his attention every few seconds. Wall, ceiling, floor, the Pokemon in the corner--oh? Now that he thought about it, this was the longest he had seen his Metang 'sleep' in the past couple of years. The metal Pokemon usually stayed up fussing over him when he was a teenager or exploring the estate when everyone else was asleep. The only times he had seen the Pokemon actually 'sleep'--or, more like 'power off'--was when they had both been up for too long. Three days was a long time, of course. At least someone was at ease with their current situation. Then again, the Metang wasn't the one with a sex drive. The dip of the bed brought Tsubasa back to reality. Red eyes widened as they focused on the tanned man in front of him, the one who had suddenly grown a lot closer while he had let his guard down. Damn, today was not his day at all. The heat intensified on his face, and he felt himself slowly leaning back to put more space between the two of them. " A-about th-that--" goddammit, he was stuttering. Inwardly cursing himself for acting so weak, he forced his hands to leave his lap and hover in front of his face, crossed over one another in the shape of an X. " Wh-while I said I wo-wouldn't pa-particularly mi-mind, th-that sort of thing, especially the fir-first time, sh-should be re-reserved for lo-lovers... no-not people who... who just met th-that day..." The albino trailed off, gulping as he warily peered up at what he could see of Amos from beyond his arms. " That's what... Uncle s-said, a-nyway, s-so... I'm sorry, Amos." His first kiss was taken today. Going on to his virginity would be too much for him, and he was not about to start following his groin while his mind was functioning at anything more than fifty percent. ooc: sorry this is short. my hand hurts. >A<

Amos had waited, and the reaction, only had him smile. He moved back, hand ruffling the pale hair, "Quite fine with me." He shifted, and turned to sit on the bed, flopping back as he stretched his arms over his head before they bent to support his head as he laid there on the bed. The bed was much to small for him laying across the shortest length, but hey, he wasn't panning on sleeping. "So, if you don't mind my asking... Are your plans for tonight?" he asked, slowly looking up at the other male.
Amos smiled, "Because, if you wouldn't be terribly against it, I wouldn't mind taking you out on a date, get to know each other better." he watched the smaller man, speaking honestly. Hey, he was attractive, he had no qualms with dating him first. He really didn't. If he was lucky they'd be compatible with each other. Really he felt the other man should eat more, he was way to thin to his liking. But who was he to complain? Exactly! Well, he was the chef, so he could complain by that aspect. But just as he had said himself, they had just met today.
He moved a hand to rub his chin as he watched his ceiling. It was really a plain ceiling, not even any little spots to count on the ceiling boards. He stayed quiet as he stayed there, he wondered how the cafeteria was doing. He knew he made enough pancakes to last the whole day if they had to. And there was even more batter sitting ready to be made into a pancake that any other kitchen staff could take care of. He wondered... He looked to the paler man, "So Tsubasa, off topic here... What's your favorite food?" The question would seem quite random to the other, and he wouldn't be surprised if as such took place.

Like satellites & shooting stars like a star that has seen the sun, i revolve around you ►-------------------◄ A breath left his parted lips, the air he had unknowingly withheld escaping as soon as the man moved away from him. He counted to ten in his mind before he allowed his arms to fall away from his face, though they did not return to his laps. Instead, they reached up, combing through his pale hair and fixing it to the best of his ability without the aid of a mirror. Giving up on trying to perfect his hair (even though it was usually just left in a more 'bed head' look no matter what), he allowed his hands to return to their resting place on his thighs. He stared down at his pale hands, listening to the world around him as he felt the bed dip down beside him as Amos laid down. Red eyes glanced over at the tanner man when he spoke, blinking once before he gave a soft reply. " Work." He needed to get back to work. He needed to fix the issues with the latest project. He needed to get it done before the deadline, before they expected to see some sort of presentation on the project. That presentation will probably end with more question, more specifications from the boss, and more long nights for him. Tsubasa turned his head to the side so he could see Amos better. A look of confusion crossed his face, a look that seemed to be dominating him as of late. He was confused, unsure, out of his comfort zone. He didn't like having someone's attention focused on him. It was bad enough when it was a group of people, but to have one single person focus on him, to give him their full attention, to... be asking him out on a date... This was foreign to him. The Rocket remained quiet as his mind tried to process what to say. Should he accept? Decline? Rain check? He did have work to do... Oh, but he was keeping Amos from his own work. He should at least do something to make up for that. But, a date? Now that he thought about it, he had never... gone out on one before. During high school, he was focused on helping his uncle... And then he was forced to remain inside with tutors. A date couldn't hurt, could it? Catching himself staring when the man spoke up again, he quickly adverted his gaze to his hands, fiddling with one of the buttons on his lab coat. Food... What was his favorite food? He thought back to all the different foods he has tried before, from the homecooked meals of his uncle's and grandparents' to the high class food the chef at the estate would prepare. He didn't particularly enjoy the 'fancy foods'. It was too... It didn't have the warmth in it that homecooked meals did. There was one dish in particular that he did favor, though... But, without the actual cook of the meal, it had never been the same. Could it even be considered a meal, though? It was more dessert than an actual meal. Unless... Dessert could be considered a meal. He was thinking too much on the matter. " Baumkuchen." The word left his mouth in the middle of his inner musing. It was too late to take it back. Though, he didn't really feel embarrassed about that being his favorite food, even if his own taste buds were like that of a child rather than that of an adult. " And, I wouldn't mind it..." He stopped fiddling with the button on his white coat, turning his head to face Amos once more. " Th-the date, that is..." ooc: late. sorry. ;u;

Amos smiled softly, "Baumkuchen huh.." He'd have to look that one up, he'd never heard of it before. He smiled, looking up at him. Chuckling a bit, "You know... You're surprisingly adorable when you look all nervous." he smiled warmly and slowly moved, sitting up. He stretched a bit as he sat up. But the next words caught him off guard and he turned looking at the paler man, and couldn't stop the grin from breaking out on his face. "That would be great." He stated honestly.
He hadn't really expected a yes! The smaller male was a lot more attractive than he was, so he was surprised to say the least, but very very happy. He chuckled, "Well, Why don't I pick you up after the dinner hour at the cafeteria? You'll be in the Tech wing right?" He smiled watching him. Really he was excited, he felt like he had butterflies fluttering about in his stomach. He would of continued sitting there grinning like a idiot, if he knew he needed to actually get to work honestly. He couldn't allow just pancakes to be served for dinner. It was bad enough he skipped out for lunch.
He moved standing, "Why don't we swing by the cafeteria, get you some lunch, then I'll see you later." he smiled warmly looking down at the smaller man who was sitting on his bed, whom of which he offered a hand to assist him in getting up. He stayed like that, standing there waiting to help him up onto his feet.
