Davyn nodded thoughtfully and held back a remark as she explained the Rockets from her perspective. He admire the fresh outlook and couldn't help but appreciate her situation. She was right, she wasn't really a monster at all, just a girl trying to make her way through. He had been there, he'd done monstrous things but as far as Davyn was concerned a few ill perceived actions or thoughts highly justified Thorn being a monster. Looking at her, so normal, he couldn't help but feel a little disgusted at the thought of someone calling her that.
As she reined in her Pokémon, instinctively Davyn did the same, giving Prima one last good scratch before returning her and slipping the engraved Pokéball into his left pocket. He noticed a devious smile on her lips as she spoke and quickly followed suit after her. He stood up and flipped his vest over his broad shoulder before looking around to find Thorn, only to realize he had to look down. "Oh, my... You know what they're right. Pretty threatening there, Miss. " he teased.
After a moment of silence he pointed down a street a couple blocks south of their location. "I do believe there is a diner there, atleast I recall there being one." he slowly began to walk in that general direction and replied to her question. "Hah. Well you see, unlike yourself I don't have to play the bad girl, I just get to play the neutral bar keep with a devilishly handsome smile." he grinned awkwardly as if to show her what he meant and then added "Honestly though, I suppose I've just become partially nocturnal. I guess that's what I get for working all night. I'll pass on the cold drink though."
Davyn looked down at his shoes as they slowly walked and couldn't help but feel a little flustered. Was he really sharing his morning ritual with an admin of Team Rocket? The weirdest part as out of all the people in Celadon she was perhaps the last person he thought would be one of them. He shook his hair and brushed his hair back our of his eyes, looking at the passing scenery. A couple blocks passed by quickly enough and Davyn subtly signalled to cross at the end of this street. Making sure, Thorn was still following he crossed the road quickly and continued to walk straight, keeping pace with the shorter person.
Davyn made motion to stop in front of a small out of the wall diner with a flickering 'Open' sign in the window. He swung the door open with ease and pressed against it, holding it open. "After you."
The Diner was small but clean, the tables lined up against the big paned windows that were letting in the bright rays of light. The soft smell of something sugary wafted through the small diner. Near the corner of the room in the uppermost corner was an affixed TV playing some reel of news that Davyn didn't bother listening to, instead he just looked down at Thorn and motioned to a booth against the wall. "Hopefully this isn't too low standard of a place for someone like you." He half smiled awkwardly and sat down in the booth smiling as the familiar face of the only waitress working in the establishment popped up from behind the counter. "Davyn! Be right with you!"
Davyn waved and then added quietly to Thorn. "Have whatever you'd like. It's on me."

As they walked, she realized how short she was standing next to him. His comment made her scowl, but she had no response. She coughed fiercely however, blue eyes staring with a purpose. She looked away after that. It was her day off, and she was going to let some pesky bug ruin it. As the diner came into view she nodded her head slowly. She knew this place. She came her often for breakfast. She could smell the freshly baked goods and brewing coffee and suddenly her muscles relaxed. This is where she came when her days were bad, and suddenly her favorite waitress would make it better. It seemed that Davyn too came her often, she wondered how often they had seen each other without truly knowing it. He motioned to a booth, and she took a seat across from him. Her espeon lay on the ground next to her, in a deep trance as he always did. That was to be expected from a very protective pokemon.
The girl didn't even have to look at the menu. As the waitress came back around she smiled up at the woman. "Apple pie ma'am and a french Vanilla Coffee please. The usually four and four." Thorn handed her menu back and the girl look at her Espeon. Usual for Phantom too miss?" Thorn nodded, her Espeon loved the Sitrus berry muffins that they kept out back for any of their pokemon visitors. It wasn't long before her breakfast was placed before her, Thorn placed the muffin at her Espeons paws, and she took a small teaspoon stirring her coffee. Her eyes looked out the window as the town started to come alive. However she nearly leaped out of seat when she saw what looked like a Pokemon Battle about to occur.
"Instincts..." She focused at the steaming cup before letting the hot liquid calm her. She closed her eyes slowing her breathing, she would just have to pretend she didn't see any of that. Occasionally she would glance, but made no movement to stop it. "It's not to low Standard....Davyn I come here on my days off and my breaks while at work...I have the best view from the window booths...I just watch the people most of the time, taking mental notes of where people go what people do." She stated taking another sip. She took a fork digging into her breakfast and of course in this case dessert. The cinnamon and sugar apples and crust were so delicious she smiled softly. "Best apple pie in town I can promise you that one. She said. She gave a quick stretch eyeing the bartender carefully. "So are you comfortable telling a Rocket Admin about yourself or would you like me to go first?" She teased.

Davyn smiled slightly as he realized Thorn was comfortable here and without much thought he added to the order. "Two apple pies, please."
As the pie arrived Davyn couldn't help but smile slightly and scoop some of it quickly into his mouth, appeasing his growling his stomach. He sighed and leaned back into his seat, letting the sweet taste of the pie fill his senses. After a moment he looked out of the window noticing what looked to be a Pokemon battle and curiously looked back over at Thorn gauging her reaction. She seemed very calm and her breathing was slow and controlled, Just a normal person.
At her comment about the diner, Davyn perked up in his seat not expecting to hear what he did. He agreed whole heartedly "Agreed. The best easily." He took another mouthful of the pie, closing eyes to take in the thick sweetness, opening a curious eye as Thorn brought up her place in the Rocket organization.
He cocked his eyebrow and swallowed before replying. "A Rocket Admin?! I thought you were just a normal follower today!" He dropped his fork and stretched in his seat, taking in a deep breath.
"Well that depends.. What would you like to know?"

"I am just a regular person...but JUST for today." She added with a warm smile. She looked back out the window contemplating what she did want to know. "I see you are very protective of the houndoom. So you follow our rules it seems. Have you ever gotten into any trouble?what do you like to do in the free time you have? Do you sleep out on the streets or do you live in the follower complex?" Thorn started spitting out questions, it wasn't because she was going to use the information to her advantage, but simply the fact she was curious. Was this man sleeping out on the streets? For some reason Thorn now felt obligated to help him out, not because they were best friends from the past, but there was something about him that just made her feel she had a new person to protect.
"I have my own place within the Rocket Community. I'll sneak rebels in sometimes its better than sleeping on the streets and especially in the winter time when it gets so frigid. Rebels don't have access to medical care so keeping them inside...ya know sometimes I don't know what side i'm on...sometimes I do." She went on her own rant. Thorn picked up her coffee gently sipping on the steaming cup. She wasn't sure...sometimes she wanted things to go back to the way they used to be, other times she wanted to take her Rocket Boot and shove it where the sun didn't shine. She supposed it just depended on the person.

Davyn let out a stiff laugh, looking up from his pie. He laid his fork down and nodded in agreement. "Just for today."
Thorn began to shoot a long stream of questions over the table to which Davyn sat back and waited for her to take a pause to reply. "My houndoom is often my sole companion, while I don't quite like always having to keep her in the safety of her Pokéball I would never risk having her out and about. Losting her..." He gulped. "As for trouble, I havn't gotten in any, rather I havn't gotten caught." He hesitated before adding, "Nothing with you Rockets though. Just some business back home." He took a sip of water and tilted back his head before looking over at Thorn from behind his black locks of hair. "Free time? I rarely allow myself free time. It makes me think about things I'd rather forget. And as for living arrangements... I'll occasionally take place in the complex but I mean the weather is so pleasant as of late that I hardly see a point." he blinked. "I mean don't get me wrong. It's for sure a choice and not something forced by circumstance." "Were you offering?" he smiled slightly as he shifted slightly in his seat.
As the questions stopped coming Davyn returned to his pie slowly eating it as he quietly listened to Thorn. "It's easy sometimes to forget ranks." he looked away at the comment and shook wearily, sinking slightly in his seat. "Everything is easy to forget. Sometimes, when I'm falling asleep and looking up at the bright sun rays that fall between the leaves of the trees I can easily forget it all. I can so clearly see my life before Celadon and I feel like at any moment I might be called for by someone familiar." He paused, looking out the window, "But then you come back to this reality. Sometimes that's a good thing and sometimes you just want to escape for a little while longer. "
Davyn pushed away his plate to the side and looked across at Thorn. "So Tomorrow, if I see you, I should run right?"

Thorn looked at her empty plate and empty cup. She hadn't realized she had finished everything as Davyn was talking to her. So the followers helped him out from time to time that was good. "I'm offering if you need a place to stay that's not gross or need to clean up a bit. Not permanently" Thorn spoke with a serious tone. She took a small teaspoon swirling it around a light ting sound echoed occasionally. She realized how harsh life was out on these streets and she was helping it happen. The older girl closed her eyes ightly thinking about all the events that had happened in her life. Would she REALLY chase him down come tomorrow if she saw him? More than likely, she would not. It wasn't really WORTH her time. That's when a thought came into her mind. Was she really a rocket? Or was she a rebel working the other side. She was betraying everything she was ever taught, and molded to be, and for some reason she was okay with that.
Thorn pushed her plate to the center of the table before shaking her head ever so slightly. "No. If I'm around you will be safe." Thorn was speaking out of line. She shouldn't be providing coverage to all these people that was what...three of them now? She decided to protect Sage... Aven was just a given and now here she was protecting Davyn. "I used to be with a Rebel his name was Akira, and I swore to him I would protect those who I thought had good judgement and good character despite everything I am and claim to be. So therefore since he's no longer with us I will just have to make sure no Rocket harms you." Thorn looked around to make sure no one she knew was looking. She reached into her pocket and placed what appeared to be a clip radio onto the table.
"Thats my line directly. If you hit that cool little R button. My ear piece beeps which I always have in. Its just very hard to see. EVEN on my days off. You hit the R button and I'll be near by whether or not you see me." Thorn smiled softly looking at the Rebel. "The offer stands, you don't have to take it or you can take it and choose not to use it, that will all be up to you Davyn."
