Sage had risen from his sleep like he would any other day. He smiled softly a hand gently went through the feathery-like fur his Dody had on his head. The Pokemon murred softly but otherwise stayed put. He let the poor boy get some extra sleep in. He was up earlier than he normally would be. Even with Dody sleeping in the bed with him, giving him someone to cuddle with, he didn't always had a nightmare-free night. Some nights were were than others some he didn't have any at all. But he was up for the day now, mostly due to having been unable to go back to sleep after a memory-like nightmare of being back with his old family.
Sage shook it from his thoughts as he went about his usual morning routine; first it was the bathroom, which meant using the toilet, taking a shower, brushing his teeth, then combing his hair. When he was done in the bathroom he was preparing to get something together for breakfast. Really he never ate much, so the little food he bought lasted awhile, but he always prepared food for Dody as well. It never took long to get a bowl of cereal for himself and cut up some fruits and vegetables for Dody anyway.
When the fruits and vegetables were all cut he finally went into the bedroom once more, smiling softly, he sat on the bed and turned, rubbing Dody's back, "Come on Dody, breakfast is all ready waiting for you." he chuckled softly as one of the heads was up instantly at the mention of breakfast, and even pecked the other one a little bit so it would also get up. Sage smiled and moved as the bird clambered out of the bed. It was a slightly awkward movement but Dody had lots of practice and was good at using it's heads to get off the mattress.
Once Dody was on his feet, Sage led the way back to the kitchen, setting two bowls down on the table so Dody could reach. One had the fruit, the other the vegetables. Even though the food went to the same place one head liked fruits, the other the vegetables. So he just made sure to keep them separate for his 'feathered' friend. He still wasn't really sure if Dody had feathers or fur, it was just really soft for feathers, but firmer than just fur. Oh well, he still loved his wingless bird. Sage wasn't quite sure where his fear of winged birds entirely came from. He was told he was attacked once, but didn't want to believe his father with those words, not like the man ever gave him a reason to.
With a sigh Sage shook his head smiling as Dody ate and finally sat down to eat his own cereal. When finished he took all the empty bowls to the sink rinsing them out well, and since he was up early washed them completely instead of leaving them for tonight like he normally would. When he was done he dried his hands, looked to the clock then looked to Dody, chuckling as the two heads were bickering over a piece of string... Really he thought he cleaned all that up. He stepped over taking the string from the two of them shaking his head as he put it in his pocket and pet both of the heads. "I have time until work, why don't we go to the park or something?" he asked getting nods from both heads. They didn't like being cooped up anymore than he did.
After grabbing a light jacket to wear over his clothes, since it was fairly breezy outside, he headed out, waiting for Dody to exit the apartment before he closed and locked the door, keys got placed into his pants pocket. "We have a couple hours til I have to get to work." he smiled to Dody as they headed down the apartment stairs to the sidewalk. He figured he would walk until they were out of the city a bit more, if something happened and he needed a quick get away he could always hop on Dody's back and take off.
He knew they'd have quite the ways to travel if they really wanted to go to the Safari zone, but he was fine with just a grassy field really, somewhere Dody could stretch his legs and have fun doing what Doduo's do.
Sage walked quietly, hands in his jacket pockets as he watched what they passed. It seemed quiet today, and it worried him today, but he argued with himself that it was just the earlier hour. Yea, that had to of been it.
(Wrap up: He's walking down the sidewalk heading for a park/field to let Dody play, anyones welcome to bump into him there <3 )

Her black hair swayed in the breeze, occasionally the girl tapped her ear to place head ear piece back in place, today was a very quiet day. Rebel activity had been picking up lately, and the female rocket was very well aware of the situation, but today was her day off, so she was nothing but a bystander for the most part. If she saw any rebels in particular she didn't really like she would report them, other than that it was free game as far as she was concerned. Her blue eyes were hesitant as she walked towards the park. don't let me run into anyone, I just want a day to myself and Espeon that's all I ask..." After contemplating the pros and cons of the situation, she took her first steps into the green land. She tossed her flip flops aside and let her toes move in the grass, it tickled her feet but for some reason it felt amazing. She giggled softly before her eyes turned towards the sky, for once it was blue tainted with white whisps. She smiled softly but it soon turned into a frown only because she knew to the south of them was a city of ruin. It was a shame, but it was how it needed to be in order to keep the order in place.
"Espeon look a swing!" She ran forward and let her pokemon jump on the wooden plank that hung from a large oak tree. Above her pidgey and fletchling along with chatot sung in harmony, it was quite a beautiful day. She pushed her pokemon for awhile, her Espeon cooing with happiness. For once they weren't working, and it was nice to get out once in awhile. Her espeon jumped off and flicked its purple tail signaling her to get on. Thorn sat on the swing, and the psychic pokemon pushed her back and forth. The wind in her air was wonderful, and the fact that she got to enjoy it with Espeon. When she turned her head ever so slightly, she put her hand up to stop. pokemon aren't supposed to be out of their pokeballs...." She narrowed her eyes and gripped the rope tightly.
Her espeon growled giving the Rocket a warning. No work, they both agreed to it. She got off her swing but nodded to the left. "If he wants his pokemon out he's gonna have to earn it." She nodded her head towards the beaten dirt path. "Hey you know its dangerous to have your pokemon out like that. What if there were rockets around!" She waved frantically to the trainer and his doduo. She tilted her head to the side and tugged at her maroon tank top. "Not that I'm one to talk eh?" She looked at the trainer with her 'innocent' blue eyes. "Nice day for the park huh? Summer has always been my favorite especially those days with a breeze. " She said.

Sage was surprised when there was another person here at this park. It was so close to the ruins hardly anyone ever came out here. He gulped, a hand lightly settling to rest on Dody's back. He gave a slight nervous laugh, free hand rubbing the back of his head before the laugh faded. "Well it's such a nice day.. and Dody likes to run around..." he trailed off when one of the two heads turned to pick at the shirt sleeve near his shoulder. His free hand moved to gently rub the birds beak.
He looked to the lady, not sure who she was, but hey, my as well be friendly.. "My name is Sage, and yours?" he smiled gently... Hopefully she wouldn't report him, he usually kept Dody at home as often as he could since he hated the poke ball, but when he was leaving for work he took him--never know what could happen. But short errands? He left him at home so he could be loose. But now? It was really early morning, and he wanted to let Dody run a bit in the field here...
Watching the black haired girl, still waiting for a name as he shifted his weight. With a breath he gently patted Dody's side, "Go ahead and run.." the bird-type looked at him for a moment before it let out a playful squawk and started to move, walking towards the field, then suddenly moved to a run. Dody ran large loops around the field, staying close in case Sage did need him though.

Davyn walked down the street slowly, hit feet dragging heavily against the sidewalk. A loud buzz rang through his brain as he recalled the evening's events.
Beer clung to the girl's breath as she leaned up against the bar. She let out a crooked smile and flicked back her hair "Hey there, Why don't you give me something not from the tap?" She let out a small laugh and whirled her straw around her empty glass. Davyn looked up from under his heavy locked of hair, seemingly black eyes staring at her. "Such as?" "You." she retorted almost instantly, a flare in her eyes. The bartender shook himself slightly and looked her over, after a moment he shook his head and muttered slowly "Lady, I think you've had too much to drink."
She had made a lot of noise as she protested the comments and Davyn did his best to ignore the regards but it still got to him. As he walked down the side of the road, lit by the sunrise, his memories surfaced. He remembered her. Her sweet smell and the kindness in her eyes. She had seemed so flawless and yet as the months passed she gradually turned into a monster he didn't know. He was sad when she left, of course but at the same time it was liberation. He was free of the monster that he held onto out of mere memories.
Davyn sighed. Perhaps he would have drown in his thoughts if it wasn't for the sound of people ahead that caught his attention. "Go ahead and run.." The obsidian haired man watched as the small Pokémon ran around in circles around his trainer and felt a pang of envy. He was far too cautious about losing Prima to ever let her out in public. Instinctively, he clutched the ball inside his pant pocket to reassure himself of her presence before continuing to walk by slowly, only stopping at the sight on an Espeon. He inwardly admired the Pokémon's coat and how happy it looked and spotted its trainer next to the blond boy. They seemed to be speaking and suddenly feeling like some third wheel or intruder on their park date he hurried along waving awkwardly. "Have fun, you two."
He stopped out of the two trainer's view behind a thick tree and dropped to its roots, clutching his hair between his knuckles. I probably seemed like a total creep, he thought repeating the incident in his mind. What normal person stops to gape at people at the park? And then who is foolish enough, especially in these times, to make a comment about it? After a moment of beating himself up, Davyn looked up to the sun rising and lifted the tie from around his neck, letting a heavy breath out. "This is almost nicer than a bed." he muttered to himself.

[This made me giggle]
She looked the boy up and down nodding. "The names Thorn its a pleasure." She gave him a light pat on the shoulder as she watched his doduo run. Sage....I'll add that to the list." She was about to speak again when another gentleman came running forward. Have....have fun? She looked at Sage then back to where that guy had run off too. That was an awkward interaction. "Espeon why don't you go run with Doduo you need to stay in shape you never know what tomorrow brings!" She tucked a strand of her black hair behind her ears. Espeon looked at her with narrowed eyes before happily obliging. She tapped her finger on her chin before pulling out another pokeball. "Eh what the heck." The red beam hit the ground and her jolteon fluffed up her fur before sending small sparks. "Go on go play." Her jolteon had much higher energy and was more than happy to run around with her Espeon.
"Hey there mister don't be hiding behind the trees! awkward things happen I've heard and seen much worse." Thorn leaned forward tapping the grass with her hand. It was dry. She gave a stretch before sitting on the green grass, legs outstretched she pulled at her denim shorts. "What do you do for work sage?" She placed her other two pokeballs in the grass next to her. One of them was her prized possession and she would never let it out of her sight no matter what. She tucked the pokeball between her and a half alive bush... NO ONE would touch it. "What about you......sir...?" She asked casually. It felt odd to her to not be chasing these two through the park, but it wasn't her problem, she saw and heard nothing today...welll for the most part.
"Sage you don't seem very worried about letting your doduo run free. Aren't you scared you may get caught? Me I've worked my way around so I know what time rockets patrol when. So in two hours I plan on taking my Jolteon and Espeon to the safari zone. I need well or want to find a dragon type...dragons are my favorite so mystical and serene. What are your guys's favorite type?" Thorn asked just trying to strike up a casual conversation.

Sage had been startled by the strange interaction with the other guy who seemed to flee to hide behind a tree... He looked to Thorn and smiled a bit.. "Well, Normally I don't have him out, but It was so early, and he needs to be able to run around or he gets irritable.." Really, a Pokemon built to run, needs time to run.
He tilted his head, she knew of the schedules the rockets patrolled? Either she did a lot of watching or there was something he should keep a guard about...
Oh right, she asked about what he did, he smiled a bit, sitting on the grass, pulling his knees up to his chest as his arms lightly wrapped around his legs. "I'm a waiter at one of the restaurants near by, but i do some of the cooking from time to time." he answered gently. He took a glance at his watch after lifting his sleeve up, "Which I need to be at in three hours." he smiled a bit, giving her a warning for if and when he had to suddenly leave.
Sage's violet eyes looked to the tree the other had rushed behind, when she continued to speak to him it made him smile a bit, she seemed nice, and it was a nice change to all the guarded worrisome types around. He blinked, favorite type of Pokemon? "Other than pokemon others have, I've only ever seen my Dody. I've never been to the Safari Zone." he admitted gently. He wasn't sure if he should get more pokemon, he didn't want to get accused of gathering an army or something strange like that. "but long as it's not a winged bird type I'd probably like it." he stated smiling warmly.

Davyn looked up between the straight locks of obsidian hair, his seemingly black eyes looking up at the girl as she approached. He dismissed her presence after a moment and looked up at the sky, watching the sun rise slowly, admiring its lush colors as they beat down onto the shambled city of Celadon.
"What about you... sir?" The words that escaped Thorn's lips echoed in Davyn's head, pulling out from his trance. He shook his head and looked up at her, "I bartend." after a moment of uncomfortable silence he added "The bar that I work at is only a few blocks from here.. I'm on my way home from a night shift, admittedly slow."
Davyn inhaled sharply and she looked over the Pokemon that were running around. A twinge of worry seemed to sparkle in his eyes for a moment before dispersing itself. Prima was safe.
He looked over at Thorn as she spoke again, asking about Pokemon and after a moment and after hearing Sage's reply he added. "I'm not a huge fan of Pokemon. Don't get me wrong, I think they're interesting creatures but I wouldn't say I have a favourite type." He could have kept speaking about the issue at hand for ages but decided to be quiet. He took the time to look at Thorn. She seemed so delicate, he commented inwardly, however Davyn was a horrible judge of character as his past endeavours had proven. He pushed the thoughts out of his mind. For the first time he turned his attention to the sitting blond. He looked him over for a moment, assessing him for a moment before dismissing him as any threat as well and leaned against the tree.
He looked up and cautiously dug his hand into his pocket to rub his knuckles against Prima's pokeball for comfort. "What are you doing out so early?" Davyn asked casually in Thorn's direction.

Thorn looked over her blue eyes sparkling for just a moment. What WAS she doing out. Honestly she should be in her suite resting with her Pokemon but that just...wasn't going to happen was it? "Well quite frankly I work an odd schedule so I'm just making sure my schedule doesn't get messed up while its my day off." She stated. She waved a hand dismissing the subject. She didn't need to tell them about he her job. It was bad enough she was letting the trainer with the doduo get away with what she considered a crime. She tugged on the fabric on her shirt as her gaze shifted between the two. So the trainer like winged birds. She nodded slowly pointing to the west where the safari zone was. "Some of the best of the best have tried sneaking in and failed miserably. Me I've never been caught." She smirked slightly. She looked to her Espeon who seemed less than enthused with Jolteons sparks. She sheepishly looked away from them, the two never worked well together and she knew but sometimes she was amused to say the least with their interactions.
"There are lots of non flying types in there. I bet you would really like Ponyta or Jumpluff. Both are two my own favorites. Very strong." She added in. She eyed the other male with suspicious eyes as his hand seemed to be in his pocket a lot. He seemed almost anxious. She decided commenting on it would not make the matters any better. ' Pokemon are interesting creatures. I remember when I went to school I had a very well balanced team. However they are safe in Blackthorn..for now. I heard the Rockets are all over goldenrode. Giovanni at their lead of course." Thorn continued the conversation as she watched the sun rise. Oh the information she was giving away. She smiled warmly knowing she would use it to her advantage later. Getting to know her enemies...it was smart.
Her jolteon would be able to take out Doduo easily but what about...the other mans Pokemon. She tilted her head to the side eyeing him suspiciously for just a moment. "Rebel life is hard. I slept in an abandoned tree house on the outskirts last night." She fibbed. Were these two people followers posing as rebels...or rebels posing as followers. She would find out, and come tomorrow they would be fair game. "Its even worse when you don't know from day to day if you will be alive you know. Scary stuff but worth it. To be able to travel...again...would be amazing." She said, speaking to no on in particular.

Sage was quiet, feeling like an odd extra wheel now. But the conversation as carried and he wasn't sure what any of the pokemon she was naming looked like. He'd never gotten out much.. But no matter, not like he ever would.
When she mentioned rebel life was hard, he frowned, and moved standing. Nuh-uh, he did not want nor need to be in this sort of conversation. He wasn't sure where his loyalties lied, but he wasn't going to get dragged into any rebel business he wasn't prepared to do anything and he had no intention of doing so. "Well.. I should be heading off and to work, I don't need to be late." he gave a warm smile, hand reaching for the pokeball he had for Dody, "All right bud, let's get going.." As much as he hated to, he returned him to his pokeball. He turned, giving both a smile, "It was very nice to meet both of you." he smiled warmly still, giving a slight wave, before he started to head out of the park calmly. He was telling the truth he did need to get to work.

Davyn noticed Thorn's suspicion and without a hesitation in his mind slipped the Pokéball out of his pocket and onto his lap, fingering the delicately engraved cursive writing on the front. Prima. A pang of sadness clawed its way to the surface of Davyn's emotions as he remembered his sister stubbornly writing on the metallic surface what seemed like a life time ago. He brushed the feelings away and nodded as Thorn spoke.
Something seemed slightly off about Thorn's words but he ignored it and instead just looked in her direction, occasionally looking her over as if to try and get a better understanding of her.
"I feel you. I was once living on the streets back when I first left home..." He stopped for a second and diverted his eyes to the sun. "Travelling is one thing but it's always nice to have somewhere to go home to, a pillow or even someone to rest your head against after a long day.." He stopped instantly as he realized what he was saying.
Casually he tried to change the subject, looking down at the Pokéball in his hands. "Are you sure you should just let your Pokémon out? I don't know what I would do to myself if I lost my Prima to the Rockets." Davyn stiffly undid the upper most button of his shirt and peeled off his vest as he waited for a reply from the two. It sure was a lovely summer day, if only he could lay on the grass with his Houndoom and just pass out for the entirety of the day without any worries.
Or even just a day without any worries. That would be good enough. He was midst his sleepy thoughts when he heard Sage speak and quickly pulled him out of his dazed state. Slowly he waved goodbye and nodded, looking up from under his bangs at the blond. A waiter, huh? Davyn watched as Sage walked off into the warm summer day.

Thorn waved goodbye to her new aquaintance. He was a timid young chap for sure. There was something about him that just made her smile. Perhaps his innocence. "Have a wonderful day Sage, may it go by quick." She watched him go but looked at the rising sun. Did he not say just a few moments ago that he had three hours to get to work. Her eyes narrowed slightly, was it something she had said. her eyes shifted to where Davyn had his Pokeball out now visible in his lap. He still had yet to let his Pokemon out. then the same question came out that she had asked earlier on. Why wasn't she afraid....well the quick answer was because she was a rocket... she looked down at the ground, not really wanting to tell him WHO she was but for some reason felt inclined to. Why lie she would run into this gent again sooner or later. She coughed awkwardly before looking at him.
"Well the simple answer is yes I should...I have my Pokemon out everyday." She said dancing around the subject slightly. She knew if she changed the subject again however that her teeter dance would be more than obvious. "Honestly I can get away with just about anything in this town because I rule it. I am THEE admin of Team rocket." She said boldly. She looked at him through her peripherals. How would he react to that one. She reached into her pocket holding out her Rocket I.D just in case he needed some kind of proof. She knew the patrols, she knew where to go...she got away with EVERYTHING because she was in charge.
"But Don't run away!" She said quickly after. She didn't want him to run away from her. Sure he was a rebel but not really on her threat list. "If I realllly wanted to do anything I could have done it by now and would have done it by now and both of you would be locked away. But see I haven't. Don't plan too, so if you want to let your pokemon out that I see you've been playing around with go ahead. Or not ....but again you're honestly the safest with me around." She added with a slight tone of pride in her voice.

Davyn tried to hide his surprise at Thorn's unveiling and tossed a casual glance over her I.D, letting out a strained breath. "Well, look at that.." He looked at Thorn, straightly for the first time and pushed his hair back slightly from his eyes. "What use would running do anyways? I mean, granted, I could outrun yourself but could I outrun the entirety of Team Rocket? If anything running would only make it worse." He chuckled dryly at his own comment and briefly returned his attention to the Pokéball in his hand.
Davyn hesitated for a moment as she allowed him to release Prima and after a moment decided to do so, ever so softly throwing the ball a couple yards away. Prima lazily looked towards her owner, shaking her massive horns. The houndoom sat down in the grass and let out a yawn and cocked her head, eyes narrowing towards the black hair Rocket admin. The air tensed around the pokémon for a few seconds as if she was trying to assess the trainer before gently padding up and curling at Davyn's side, dismissing the threat. Davyn rested his arm on the Pokémon's ridged back and looked back at Thorn. "My ever so excitable Prima."
Without really too much effort Davyn managed to look passed the Rocket I.D that he had been presented. He never really had a face to put to the whole organization but it was a little relieving to know who the girl was. "So, let me get this straight.. On her day off the admin of Team Rocket itself just strolls around Celadon like a normal person? I never would have guessed."
Davyn let his gaze shift to the Espeon and Jolteon that seemed to belong to Thorn in the park. He smiled as he watched them and commented, more to himself than to Thorn. "Your Pokémon seem happy and healthy though. It would seem you aren't quite the monster I've been told you were."

Thorn watched as he tossed his ball with little hesitation. Her eyes fell on the fire type and nodded. A beautiful Pokemon it was. Thorn wasn't much of a fan of Fire types in all honesty and avoided them for the most part. The only one she would really use would be Chandelure or something more magetic like Arcanine. Anything else she was as good as gone. Yes this girl was afraid of fire and fire types. Her house had been lit on fire...on purpose she remembered it clear is day. She avoided the Fire types gaze as she looked towards her own pokemon now laying in the field.
"mmhmm I'm a normal person on a day off enjoying normal follower person things. When I'm on duty though that's another story I chase down who I can and make them pay for breaking the rules...well kinda sorta. I do a lot of the undercover stuff, I let me colleagues do the rest of it. Some of us are cruel people, others of us just need a good job and a roof over our heads. Our stories are all different yet kinda the same." She said as the suns rays beat down on her. She put her I.D away was he really that shocked that Rockets were normal people? Some were heartless, others were just good at their jobs and ranked up quick. That was her, she didn't torture people, she just did all the hunting and reporting...and if need be battling. She had the perfect team to do that with.
Davyns comment perked her interest. Did he REALLY think she hurt her Pokemon? "Well Yeah I don't beat on them. Phantom is someone who I've had for a VERY long time. That's my partner I've had since I was just a child, since he was an Eevee. I do not HARM my Pokemon and consider them my friends. trust me if you knew half the people I had to deal with through out the day you would understand why I prefer my pokemon over my colleagues.

He watched Thorn's eyes avoid his partner's and wondered why that was. His mind went to the worst place. Had she been attacked by a houndoom? Would she be upset at the Pokémon? He stiffened slightly only to relax as she seemed to continue on as she turned her attention to her pokémon.
Davyn looked over at Prima for a second and gently pet the Fire Types resting head as he watched the Eeveelutions lying in the field. "I'm glad that you care for them. I've only ever heard horror stories about what happens to pokémon under Rockets." He listened intently as she spoke about who he assumed to be the espeon. " I bet he was a pretty cute Eevee, most of them are.." Davyn paused for a moment, hesitating slightly before adding. "I've had Prima since she was just a pup. She was a gift from my sister.. I've never been anywhere without her, and I don't know what would happen to me if she were to ever wound up hurt or alone."
He shifted slightly, turning so that one of his shoulders leaned against the tree and he was facing Thorn squarely. "Normal follower person things, huh?" He gave a moments thought, still slightly weary of who this girl was, and asked. "Would Miss Normal person follower want to go grab dessert? I promise that it is a completly normal follower thing to eat desert first thing in the morning." He winked coyly, "Trust me, I'd know."

The black haired girl let out a fake laugh just rolling her eyes. Team rocket monsters...some really were but the way those sneaky news reporters portrayed them, they were all heartless every last one of them. She took in a deep breath looking at the man before her before shaking her head with disdain."We aren't really, that's just what the media wants us to think. We don't hurt you unless you hurt us or you really are guilty. The ones we go after are those who try to fix a problem with force and danger...and it just so happens it looks like we take in the innocent...well our story never gets put out its the same rubbish every day on the news. We aren't monsters...well at least I'm not, but I've been portrayed as one before and that will follow me forever because of that stupid little reporter witch," She clamped her hand into a fist before letting out a strong whistle calling her pokemon over.
If this man was trying to protect himself from tomorrow onward he was playing his game well, but Thorn knew better than to trust someone she had just met, especially one with such an awkward encounter. If this was a game, Thorn would play her chess pieces well, she wasn't famous for losing, if it wasn't so be it, but she would not let her guard down so easily. She looked at her device then to the trainer and then her device again. "Dessert at 7:30 in the morning is a normal thing to do? Not last time I heard" Her tone was light hearted and the thought of Dessert for breakfast was very much out of her routine but she didn't mind. Changing things up a bit is what made life an adventure. She pulled out a Pokeball calling her Jolteon back to her, but kept her Espeon out. Very rarely was the psychic Pokemon in a Pokeball at all.
"Where do they serve Dessert at 7:30 in the morning, another thing I want to know is how you function just coming off of work. After all when I get off work I just want to kick my feet up and have a cold drink. Its tough work being the bad girl ya know." She saw him wink and a devious smile was her response. Standing up, Thorn pulled on her tank top straightening it out before dipping her head down and pointing to the path. "Lead the way."
